PICTURE DISCUSSION:  This is a picture of my Dad and I on a small boat. I was three years old then, and that was the first time I was sitting on a boat. We were visiting some relatives who were staying in Malaysia and they took us to one of the shopping centres. My eyes were transfixed on the little boats that were floating around on the water. I think my father had been noticing me all this while because my father went to buy the tickets for this ride. Excitement was rolling over me in waves. I squealed in delight and ran into my father's arms. We had to step down from a platform and onto the boat. My heart began to pound violently against my chest, almost breaking my small ribcage. Cold sweat trickled down my cheeks, I started to feel scared. The people in front of me did not seem scared and so did the people at the back. Why is that so? Just as I was about to step away from the platform, familiar hands lifted me up and carried me all the way onto a seat. The boat soon started to move and my happiness knew no bounds. Even though my experience of sitting boats started from young, even until now, I still enjoy sitting boats and I look forward to more boat rides :D. Saturday, January 23, 2010 FIRST DAY IN SCHOOL: Hello people. I'm going to post about my experience at the first day of school, even though it happened a long long time ago. It was a long december holiday and of course, everybody enjoys holidays don't they? So, I'm one of them and I've always hated how fast the time passed during holidays. Okay, back to the story. It was a cool Monday morning when my mother woke me up at 5:50am, 10 minutes earlier than the usual time i would wake up. 10 more minutes of sleep would definitely make me feel more comfortable in the morning, so I had to get that 10 minutes no matter what. The lights flickered on. Mother lifted her finger and pointed at the bathroom. I moaned and plodded despondently towards the bathroom. I made it to school 20 minutes before the school bell rang as my father sent me to school since it was the first day. We had to assemble in class for assembly and I didn't really know what the reason was. I spotted Fiona sitting at the back of the classroom and walked over to sit beside her. Fiona was in the same school as me since Kindergarten, and we are very close. The sight of Fiona and the wind that caressed my cheeks did liften up my mood a little bit. I glanced around and saw many faces. Among them are a few familiar ones, while the rest are not familiar to me. However, some of them resemble my previous classmates. They really look alike. I think i would end of here. Henderson Secondary School is just too cool and i have too many things to talk about. Its already late at night and I can already start to feel the weariness in my bones. Goodnight people :D Monday, January 18, 2010 ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Jeline Foo Yin Ying. I am an ex Rvian and a current Hendersonian. I am the apple of my parents eye as I am the only child in the family. My hobbies include listening to music, playing the computer and watching the television and not forgetting travelling. I have been to many places since young. My latest trip was to Rome. My mother couldn't go with us so my cousin followed us instead. I was ecstatic! It was an 8 hour flight to Rome and when we arrived, we headed for the supermarket. The pungent smell of cheese hit me like a brick onto my nose. I felt sick. We bought some snacks to munch in case we were hungry at night and my cousin and I were not allowed to call for room service. It was just too expensive ): ! I think i'll end off now.
